PART 2: Louis Vuitton Samurai Girl - Warrior Queen of The Star Festival
For my 2nd installment, I drew inspiration from Japan's Star Festival, Tanabata. Based on the legend of Orihime and Hikoboshi, two star-crossed lovers separated by the Milky Way, who reunite once a year on the 7th day of the 7th month.
In the kingdom of The Palace of the Yoroi (鎧), which refers to armor worn by samurai, or "those who serve", I envisioned Orihime and Hikoboshi reuniting during Tanabata.
Their love and honor shine bright, showcasing why this village is the only place worthy of hosting The Star Festival each year for the past century.
Warrior Queen Zara reigns with honor, forging innovative Louis Vuitton-inspired armor that shines like the stars. Her kingdom glimmers with pride, guardian of the Star Festival's ancient rituals making them the most envied kingdom in the land.
