This story began with my girl Dreama, on a hidden continent in Oritaya, in A Tale of Impossible Possibilities. What started as sketches, character experiments, and worldbuilding has grown into a living IP — a vision of Black women across time, space, and spirit. Women of every shade, carrying power, beauty, and divine essence.

Oritaya is Afrofuturism infused with African and Middle Eastern influences, rooted in ancient divinity. At its heart is Zari = Divine Love.

The song for this reveal could only be “Brown Skin Girl” from The Lion King: The Gift. I remember dancing to it in the park, through courage, through pain, through fear, through hope, through dreams. My soul wept — because I know how it feels, brown skin girls.

This release is not just a story. It’s a love letter to my sisters.
